Château Cantemerle

Médoc – Bordeaux – France

A classic Left Bank Grand Cru classé from the Macau commune of the Haut-Médoc AOC. The rich history of winemaking at this Chateau begins in the middle of the 14th century and has continued to today. The wines produced here benefit from the richly concentrated grapes produced by vines struggling to grow in poor gravel soil churned through erosion by the Pyrenees river. With excellence both when young and mature Château Cantemerle promises to be an exciting dive into the terroir of the southern tip of the Médoc!

Location: Old Kitchens, Trinity College. Cross Great Court to enter the hallway by hall, then go through the last door on the left. map.cam.ac.uk
